Meeting Veterans at D-Day Museum, Portsmouth

Pupils from six schools across the UK were participating in an educational visit to the Normandy beaches as second prizewinners in the Their Past Your Future D-Day and Beyond Competition. The trip also included a visit to Portsmouth museums to explore the role of Portsmouth in the planning of the D-Day Landings. At the outset of the trip the group met Tony Colgan and Frank Rosier from the Normandy Veterans Association who shared their experiences of D-Day and answered questions from the students at Portsmouth's D-Day Museum.
