Where We've Been

Lancaster Bomber Flypast
Several unforgettable trips have already been enjoyed by schools and youth groups across the UK as part of the Their Past Your Future Commemorative Visits Programme, including the prizewinners in our D-Day and Beyond Competition commemorating the sixtieth anniversary of the D-Day Landings. Click on a destination below to learn more about where we have already been and the learning aims of the visits, and also to view our photographic records of these. You will also find historical information relating to each destination, sample itineraries and suggested places to visit to help you to plan your own commemorative visit in this sixtieth anniversary year. We will add more examples of destinations we have visited as the programme develops, so be sure to come back and see how the Commemorative Visits Programme is offering young people across the UK lessons they will never forget.
