The following pages are extracts from the diary of a student from Ullswater Community College, Penrith, Cumbria.  Students from the school visited Second World War related sites in Warsaw in July 2004 as part of the TPYF Commemorative Visits Programme.  The group visited museums, memorials and historic sites, and participated in active commemoration of the 60th anniversary of the Warsaw Uprising.
